Jerry Schwebel

Jerry Schwebel

Jerry, 3 Dads and a Lad’s talented tenor, grew up in the small town of Millersville, PA surrounded by the rich tones of barbershop music. Jerry’s father sang in the Lancaster Red Rose Chorus and his mother in the Red Rose City Sweet Adelines. In 1969, Jerry joined his father in the Red Rose Chorus and has been hooked on barbershop ever since!

Over the years Jerry has sung with a number of quartets including his favorite, “Dad’s Dream”, a quartet that included Jerry, his father and two brothers. Jerry also sang in an octet named “Double Feature”.

Retired from Donnelly Printing, Jerry now has plenty of time to devote to his love of barbershop music and currently splits his time between 2 quartets – 3 Dads and a Lad and the Partimers, while also singing in the Red Rose Chorus and the Bryn Mawr Mainliners. As Jerry puts it “Singing is my therapy!”
