Dwight Hershberger

Dwight Hershberger

Dwight, 3 Dads and a Lad’s baritone, grew up on a farm near Kansas City, MO and started barbershopping in 1994. Through the years, Dwight’s love of barbershop music has led him to a number of quartets and choirs including the Gopher Baroque Quartet in Lancaster, the Hesston College acapella quartet, and the Hesston College acapella choir as well as two church quartets.

A man of many talents, Dwight spent his career as a computer programmer and analyst for Western Electric, Bell Telephone (Verizon) and Philhaven. What is most interesting about Dwight, however, is his stint as a bush pilot for the Africa Inland Mission (AIM-AIR) that fueled his passion for flying. Now retired, Dwight splits his time between his love for barbershop music, golf and flying and also serves as a part-time car jockey.

Married to his wife, Edna, for 45 years, with 3 children (all married), and 5 grandchildren.
